USSABC to Lead Fourth Minnesota
Business Development Mission

Building on the success of the three previous Minnesota business development missions to Saudi Arabia, the USSABC, in cooperation with the Minnesota Trade Office, is organizing its fourth mission of state companies to the Kingdom for April 1-4, 2012, and will visit the cities of  Dammam and Riyadh. Minnesota companies will have a unique opportunity to develop or increase business and acquire key contacts in the Saudi market by joining this mission. Congressman Keith Ellison of the Fifth Congressional District of Minnesota, who accompanied the previous missions, has also been invited to join us for the upcoming mission.  More...
 

USSABC Leads Ohio Companies on
Business Development Mission

The U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council (USSABC) has successfully concluded its first business development mission of the year in which representatives from seven companies visited Dammam and Riyadh from January 15-18, 2012.  The 19 delegates represented companies from Cincinnati and the greater Ohio area and were led by Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory.  The Ohio companies represented a variety of industry sectors including healthcare, engineering, construction, agriculture, aviation, petrochemicals, and defense and security.  More...
 

Atlanta Forum Sets Participation Record

The U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council (USSABC) and the Committee for International Trade (CIT)/SUSTG hosted the second annual U.S.-Saudi Business Opportunities Forum that took place at the Omni CNN Center in Atlanta, Georgia, on December 5-7, 2011.  Strengthening U.S.-Saudi commercial ties, the three-day event was attended by nearly 1,200 U.S. and Saudi businesspeople and government officials, surpassing participation at the 2010 Chicago Forum, and featured a number of plenary discussions, business workshops, Davos-style panels, outreach events, and networking luncheons.  The event also witnessed the signing of memoranda of understanding between U.S. and Saudi businesses in the fields of marine construction, offshore oil and gas technology, and infant healthcare.  The Forum was organized in collaboration with the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the U.S. Department of Commerce along with leading Atlanta business organizations.  More...
