USSABC President and CEO Presents New Publication at Library of Congress
Business Council President and CEO Edward Burton recently participated in a book signing at the Library of Congress. His new book Business and Entrepreneurship in Saudi Arabia: Opportunities for Partnering and Investing in Emerging Business was presented in the Near East Section of the African and Middle East Division in the Thomas Jefferson Building of the Library. The event was attended by members of the business community, academia, and library employees. Following an introduction from the Library of Congress, Mr. Burton spoke about the book and answered questions from the audience.
Mr. Burton’s book examines the transitioning business environment in Saudi Arabia. It features interviews with young Saudi entrepreneurs, government officials, and the heads of family-owned conglomerates in order to present a larger picture of the complexities of the Saudi business environment. The book provides insight into the growing roles of technology, entrepreneurship, and demographics, and how these factors will influence the direction of the Kingdom’s growth over the next five years.
