August 9, 2010 – ABB won a $20 million (SR75 million) contract from Saudi Petrochemical Company (SADAF) to provide power management solutions at SADAF’s manufacturing complex in Jubail. ABB will increase network efficiency, reduce electricity waste, and improve power stability at the plant. Under the lump sum contract, ABB will also construct a new substation at the facility for the installation of power management equipment to be integrated into the plant’s existing high and medium-voltage electrical system.
