September 29, 2009 – Warehousing and Distribution Holding Company L.L.C. (WARED), a joint venture between Zahid Group Holding and Construction Products Holding, has begun offering customized and high-capacity transportation and logistics services in Jeddah. WARED provides comprehensive solutions that enable clients to work within the limits of their budget. With 12 Saudi and two international distribution centers, WARED has recently been working on large construction projects, such as King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.
The company is expanding in the region and is planning two warehouses in Jeddah and Riyadh, each about 131,000 square feet. Additional plans include opening branches in Abu Dhabi, Lebanon, Jordan, and Algeria. WARED is also in negotiations to establish and manage refrigeration warehouses across the region.
