July 15, 2010 – ABB recently won a contract from Saudi Oger, Ltd. to implement its KNX system in all buildings on the campus of the Princess Noura Bint Abdulrahman University for Women (PNU) in Riyadh. ABB’s technology will allow university staff to control lighting and other electronic applications across the campus both automatically and remotely. Similar projects employing ABB’s technology have reported energy savings of up to 40 percent. PNU’s campus will be environmentally-friendly and is set to obtain LEED certification.
