Rotana Content to be Available on Yahoo
July 8, 2010 – Rotana Media Group (Rotana), a subsidiary of Kingdom Holding Co., recently signed a contract with Yahoo Middle East to broadcast its Arabic-language programing on Yahoo’s website. Consumers will be able to access Rotana’s music, films, TV, and radio stations live through Yahoo’s video channel. While pay-per-view options are still being considered, executives expect that advertising revenue will allow viewers to enjoy content for free. Rotana’s contract with Yahoo follows the company’s recent announcement of plans to launch a news service in collaboration with FOX News Network in the near future. Return to news page
