Lockheed Martin to Provide Spare Parts for Saudi F-15s

December 7, 2016 – Lockheed Martin received a $67 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to deliver spare parts for the Royal Saudi Air Force's F-15 fighters, with deliveries expected to begin in 2018. Specific replacement parts include Infrared Search and Track systems, Sniper Advanced Targeting Pods, and LANTIRN Extended Range navigation pods. Since 1996, Lockheed Martin has provided sensor systems for the Royal Saudi Air Force’s F-15 Strike Eagle, which is a Boeing-produced twin-engine fighter that specializes in multiple combat roles such as targeted strike missions, reconnaissance, and air-to-air engagements.
